Career Day Inc. Hosts Inaugural Event at Oyster Bay High School

Career Day Inc. proudly presented its inaugural event at Oyster Bay High School on December 2, 2016. Approximately 375 students from grades 10, 11 and 12 circulated throughout the school to hear four presentations by professionals after choosing from the over 50 career possibilities.

"It’s not just a career day where people are just walking around in a cafeteria, going to tables and collecting pamphlets. It’s engaging,” Bucheister said. “My idea is that it’s not about what degrees you have or whether you become a lawyer or doctor. It’s about how everyone has value equally. You’re here at the starting point in high school and wherever you go, that’s up to you."

A representative from Career Day Inc. will visit your school and meet with administrative staff (superintendent or assistant superintendent, high school principal, department chairs, guidance counselors, technology/business staff, and other interested departments).
